The rules for using Ledgora.
These terms explain how Ledgora may be used, what you are responsible for, and the limits of the service.
Effective date: July 1, 2026. These Terms of Use apply to the Ledgora website, downloads, documentation, and related services.
Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Ledgora, you agree to these Terms of Use, the End User License Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and the Financial Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use Ledgora.
What Ledgora is
Ledgora is financial forecasting and planning software. It helps users organize financial information, model future cash flow, review transactions, manage goals, store receipts, and explore what-if scenarios.
What Ledgora is not
Ledgora is not a bank, accountant, tax preparer, investment advisor, financial planner, credit counselor, lender, or legal advisor. Ledgora does not guarantee financial outcomes.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter or import, the decisions you make, and the actions you take based on forecasts or reports. Always verify important payment dates, balances, account information, and obligations with the original financial institution or biller.
License and editions
Ledgora may offer Free and Professional editions. Free editions may include limits on accounts, transactions, receipts, goals, local AI, reporting, imports, or other features. Professional features may require a valid license key or activation record.
Acceptable use
You may use Ledgora for lawful personal or internal business planning purposes, subject to the license you receive. You may not use Ledgora to commit fraud, violate law, infringe rights, bypass licensing, distribute malware, or interfere with Ledgora services.
Prohibited activities
- Sharing, reselling, renting, or redistributing license keys without permission
- Attempting to bypass license limits, activation limits, or edition restrictions
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the software except where allowed by law
- Removing copyright, trademark, or license notices
- Using Ledgora or the website to submit malicious files or abusive requests
Ownership
Ledgora, the Ledgora name, design, software, website, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property are owned by the Ledgora project owner or licensors. You retain ownership of the financial data and files you create or import.
Updates
Ledgora may provide updates, bug fixes, new features, or security improvements. Some updates may require a Professional license or may be offered only for supported versions.
Downloads and third-party services
Downloads, payments, hosting, support, and licensing may involve third-party providers. Their terms and policies may apply to those services.
No warranty
Ledgora is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ledgora and its creators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed payments, overdraft fees, penalties, losses, or decisions made using Ledgora.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to license services, downloads, or support if these terms are violated, if fraud is suspected, or if required by law.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms of Use. Continued use of Ledgora after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
